April 8th: Learning Skills Every Parent Can Teach!

This entertaining talkshop shows you how to take an active role in developing your child’s listening, concentration, memory and organisation skills. It is suitable for parents of ages 4-11 years.
May 6th: Awe, Inspiration, Information, Fascination. Making sure the world to books is fully open.

This talkshop covers how to pre-empt or overcome common difficulties; choosing books; reading, responding and comprehending – especially comprehending! It is suitable for all parents of children 4-11 years, whether they are concerned about their child’s reading or not!
June 3rd: What is a Parent and What is it for?
7.00–9.00pm at The Salon, Avenue House, Finchley
This is a special event for parents of children 11-14 years old. It provides a framework for keeping channels of communication open as well as giving parents and children an appreciation of each other’s viewpoint.
